Design Process
Our First Meeting

Our inital design meeting is "a getting to know you" appointment...we are about to begin a creative and collaborative journey together!  We want to know about each others personality and preferences. Our meeting begins by listening to what you are trying to achieve, determining the scope of the job and settng a design direction. My goal is to help you bring your dream to life!

Presentation of Ideas

Using the information and project requirements we collected during our initial meeting, I will create a complete design presentation with concepts, furniture, fabrics and any other materials the project requires.  (This usually takes place 2-4 weeks after our initial meeting)

Pricing, Proposals, Procurement

I will prepare an invoice for all pieces that are approved which will include full product description, dimensions and pricing. Each item will require a signature of approval and the required deposit prior to the orders being placed with vendors.

Project Tracking

Orders are tracked and a status report will be given once the vendor acknowledges the order and again once it has shipped.  However; you may request a status of order at anytime. Furniture is received and stored in a local warehouse until all items are ready to be delivered.  At the warehouse, all items are inspected for accuracy of the order; color, wood tone, style number and any signs of damage.

Installation

My mission is that you never have to be concerned with any aspect of project logistics and delivery.  We handle every aspect of installation; we schedule the timing of each vendor ie. painters, carpet installers, window treatments, furniture delivery, picture hanging, styling, and photograhphy sessions.
